The best of a fashion week is when you attend events aiming to celebrate international cultures. What brought me to talk about designers, fashion events, collections and beauty is this approach that fashion and costume can have : to show the very essence of an artist, to show a different perspective and what different people feel about a subject.
Le Sommet International de la Mode, organized by DK Ambassador and partnered with international networks such as Enterprise Europe Network, Unione Camere Piemonte, Maison Mediterranée de la Mode, Pret a Cover and ESMOD International – only to name a few- last October 4th gave us the perfume of a blend of cultures and beauties, by letting the single designer interpreting a specific theme. Not a surprise that at Plaza Athénée in Paris we met again the great awarded designers who took the scene during latest Torino Fashion Week, where Modest fashion had their debut on an Italian runway. In this occasion in Paris, the designers put another brick and they introduced their best haute couture choices.
Let’s start our travel, as the theme performed by Natasha Kamal collection, coming from Pakistan, where the sparkling embroideries made us dreaming of a far one million nights tales.
The Indonesia Jeny Tjahyawati played with a color blacked combined with South Easian pattern and the colorful headscarves, by exploring brotherhood theme among different countries.
Al Nisa design, great discovery at Torino FW, dove into the Future scene, where blazers and defined shapes empower a strong woman always looking forward her path.
The elegance of Love starred the French label Gulshaan, casting on the scene silk dresses, soft and long chemises with a romance nuance; for the brand this is only a first step for a great rise in the haute couture way.
From Oman, the Middle eastern taste with violet hues in the raffinate collection by Amal Al Raisi, exploring the fairness among people, among cultures, from east to west.
It couldn’t be missed Dian Pelangi and her Beauty for details, with her stylish scarves and combos, always enriched by full colors, shimmering elements and sparkling accessorized jackets.
In the end, we loved the blooming flowers by Jose Esam, one of the emerging designer of the latest Afro fashion week, as perfect closing catwalk to embrace fashion inspirations worldwide.
