A caftan in Baku- Azerbaijan Fashion week

It was early this year when I was totally fascinated by the International Oriental Fashion Show in Paris. I can still remember the atmosphere, the lights, the people and the feeling to be sorrounded by such beautiful caftans. I’ve always be fascinated by One thousand and one nights, so that moment it was almost like living a dream. A dream that lived again during the latest Azrbaijan Fashion Week in Baku, last week, on November 8th.
In the sumptuous Fairmont Baku, Flowers tower, three talented Morrocan designers took part in the Baku scene , by introducing their latest oriental fashion taste. Azerbaijan Fashion Week (ASW) partnered with Oriental Fashon Week, by accompanying Zineb Joundy , Manale Dinar and Abdel Fatah Qadience along with amazing local talents.

Oriental Fashion Week, organized by its CEO Hind Joudar and her amazing team support, has now becoming an international event, from Paris to London, passing through Kuwait City, Marrakech and Baku in the end. In this occasion it turned to be the ambassador in celebrating the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relation between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Azerbaijan . An occasion to be celebrated by bringing on the scene the talents and the greatness of both countries.

The beauty of the caftans taken on stage was something exceptional. The embroidery, the peculiar hand work, the motives designed on the dresses reminded of a strong cultural heritage, a strong care for giving values to the inner fashion taste, running through the hearts of our designers. The images speak by themselves, the creations mesmerize from far.
We make a wish: to get to know more about the Oriental Fashion beauty and to meet very soon the designers. We would love to hear their paths.
